Fright Nights at the Fair
These designs were created for a haunted house in Syracuse, NY, with the goal of showcasing their four distinct attractions. The centerpiece of the campaign was a custom fullback design featuring a menacing clown.
One of the most unique elements was the strategic placement of the clown’s eyes directly over the vehicle’s brake lights—so when the driver hit the brakes, the eyes lit up in glowing red. It was a simple yet powerful concept that created a memorable effect without adding any production costs. This innovative approach earned the design a nomination for an OBIE Award in 2016.

Additional designs
In addition to the fullback design, I also created three other pieces for this project. I utilized the real estate on the side of the bus to highlight each themed attraction at the fair. Extensions and cutouts were used to make each design as bold as the attraction itself.
